Learn Spanish, Leonardo Da Vinci Programme
Alhambra Instituto has been successfully receiving trainees on Leonardo and other European
transnational programmes for over 20 years.
Your programme for a group of students can be funded through Leonardo da Vinci Programme.
We can provide your students with a programme that meets their individual needs and increases their mobility in Europe through the provision of skills development programmes geared towards vocational outcomes.
Our skills development programme includes:
* Business Spanish language
* Cultural Studies
* Fully supported work experience placement
We offer Vocationally Oriented Language Learning and Content Integrated Language Learning a transversal priority for all Leonardo projects. This element of our programme focuses on business Spanish and is designed to develop specific language skills and competences essential to the workplace.m.
The Leonardo Da Vinci program is a European Commission initiative which provides funds for students undertaking work placements abroad. The purpose of this scheme is to provide work experience and training for European citizens. It aims to improve the quality of professional training which helps to prepare young workers for the technological and industrial changes which the labour market faces.
The scheme provides funds to cover travel arrangements to the European country, accommodation and living costs and costs of visas etc.
The program promotes projects which are based on cooperation between a range of participants in vocational training such as vocational schools, universities, training bodies, chambers of commerce, businesses and a lot more. The program which is sometimes referred to simply as Leonardo, aims at helping people improve their skills throughout their lives, for example: making a internship in Spain and learn Spanish, or improve your Spanish language knowledge.
Leonardo is a program which has three major objectives such as to improve the skills and competencies of people; to improve the quality of and access to continuing vocational training and the lifelong acquisition of skills and competencies; and to promote and reinforce the contribution of vocational training to the process of innovation. The program aims to improve the quality and skills of people especially the mobility of young people in initial vocational training at all levels which can be achieved through work-related apprenticeship and vocational training with a vision to promote employability. The program also supports measures which qualify for support from the European Community such as mobility, pilot projects, transnational networks, and reference material and language competencies.
In case of a Group with Leonardo da Vinci Programme, the course material, the schedule, the aims of the students and
number of classes is negotiated with the commissioning party in advance.
Our successful working relationship with the majority of groups uses this framework. We have organised several sets of intensive Spanish language courses for young people who arrive in Malaga as part of the EU's Leonardo da Vinci program.
